On the 11th November 2015, The IEEE- Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Lambda Omega Chapter of NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department inducted over 20 new members to the society. A special thing this year was that not only students are inducted but also Professor Low Teck Seng, CEO of National Research Foundation (NRF) and a Faculty Member at the ECE Department.

Gracing the ceremony were the Head of Department, Professor John Thong together with Professor Lawrence Wong, Professor Prahlad Vadakeppat, Professor Qiu Cheng Wei, Professor Vivian Ng, Professor Marc Andre Armand and Professor Abdullah Al Mamun.

The ceremony was started by a welcoming speech by Professor John Thong, Head of the ECE Department. Professor John reinstated his full support of the establishment of the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter as part of the ECE community.
